The company’s sphere of activity is breeding, growing, packing and marketing potatoes.By responding to consumer wishes, Agrico wants to be a reliable partner for its customers. Together with our partners, Agrico occupies a strong position in the production chain. This enables us to guarantee a maximum price for the products produced by our affiliated members. Our aim is to operate in an efficient, result focussed and sustainable manner and to be a reliable supplier of high quality products to our customers.  Our aimsAgrico's aim is to maintain its position as the market leader and a global player by developing new potato varieties and by producing and marketing seed potatoes. In addition, Agrico aims to play an active and innovative role with its activities in the domain of table potatoes and potatoes for industrial processing. We want to continue to be a stable and powerful cooperative for our affiliated members.Our strategyAgrico supports its member growers in their desire for continuity. The principle here is a competitive payout price. The course followed by Agrico is to discover, create and maximize market opportunities together with its partners.We use our international network to maintain and consolidate our position in the world. In association with our commercial department, these international Agrico agents are the eyes and ears in the markets in which Agrico is active. We invest in knowledge and share this where possible with our growers. We also work with branch organisations and international knowledge institutes. The sum of all these efforts enables Agrico to breed and produce even better varieties. Potato varieties that match the wishes of our customers, wherever they are in the world. |
